started in 1960 under the query: "how can we improve paper?"

Project Xanadu set the stage for many of today's interfaces–interconnected, editable, cross-referenced documents, like Wikipedia or Obsidian, and not unlike the making of "collections" here on Rec League: human made groupings of disparate information as opposed to algorithmic pairings.
